Sound technical manual no. 209089-01
Sound technical manual no. 209089-01 on the requirements of all the accompanying construction elements of Lejmer movable wall that affect the level of sound attenuation.
Purpose of the manual
The level of sound attenuation of the movable wall at the construction site depends on the following factors:
- The level of sound attenuation of the wall, the level of sound attenuation of accompanying construction elements
- Additional conductors on the building (air conditioning channels- electrical-cable channels)
This manual can help you determine the needs of accompanying components
Required level of sound attenuation of accompanying construction elements
Required level of sound attenuation of accompanying construction elements depends on a certain degree of sound insulation of the wall and has to be 3 to 8 dB higher than the sound insulation of the movable wall that is installed in the building.
For different levels of sound attenuation of partition walls, it is mandatory to take into account the attached technical specification. For intermediate values, it is required to take the highest value each time. The attached manual is designed professionally, accurately, and with full consciousness.
Attachment for the use of the manual
To use the attached manual the following assumptions are required:
- The real value of sound attenuation of the movable wall, without sound transmittance through accompanying construction elements (R’w) must be 10dB higher than the desired sound insulation (sound attenuation), which should be achieved at the facility.
- There shouldn`t be any additional conductors on the building (air conditioning channels- electrical-cable channels and similar) or they should be so small that they can be ignored with regard to the level of sound insulation.
In case of deviation from these conditions, it is necessary to calculate for each individual case.
Attachment to the technical specification manual
Specified criteria on the required level of sound attenuation depending on the height of the movable wall
